The Luter Sports Complex is proud to partner with the Smithfield Recreation Association. Smithfield Recreation Association (SRA) is a local non-profit organization that runs baseball and softball for children (ages 5-16) in the Northern Isle of Wight, Carrollton and Smithfield, Virginia areas.  Incorporated in the Spring of 1968.  

    The Association has been using Beale Park in Smithfield since its beginnings in 1968. The park was a donation made by the late Carl M. Beale. Mr. Beale's generous donation, as well as the time and effort of countless volunteers and supporters over the years, has developed Beale Park into the facility it is today.
